Amsterdam. HR Tech Europe.

Amsterdam.  The city that inspired one of my favourite songs of all time. Lloyd Cole and Commotions. Lost Weekend.

(Thanks to http://www.flickr.com/photos/caoifx/ for the photo.)

Rather than a lost weekend, I get to spend a couple of  weekdays at the European HR Tech conference in Amsterdam.

Last year I got to keynote the conference. It must have gone okay, because they have invited me back to do it again.  The event has doubled in size, the agenda looks great, even if I say so myself.

In my presentation I’ll be exploring the implications of the Nexus for HR technology, touching on SaaS contracts and laying down a challenge for European HR and HR technology.  I look forward to it as soon as I finish my slides. I’ll also be on a panel with a strong bunch of analysts from other firms, part of the judges bench for the start up competition, running an expert discussion Q&A, and MCing another panel.  Busy boy, me.

There are lots of good speakers, too many to call out, but I am especially looking forward to catch up with Armin Trost and Matthew Hanwell.

If you are looking to meet with me at the event, please mail Sharon dot Gray at Gartner dot com.

Also, if you use my name, you can get a  Euro 200 discount on the fees – the code is SPKR2012.

Thanks to Marc and Peter for inviting me.
